| 9/13/2025 | Joe Stempien Memorial Golf Tournament Awning and Sign Contractors is hosting the 2nd Annual Joe Stempien Memorial Golf Tournament on Saturday, September 13th, 2025. This year's event is held at Zollner Golf Course in Angola, IN. All proceeds go to the Joe Stempien Memorial Community Leadership Scholarship Fund. I want to introduce the Joe Stempien Memorial Community Leadership Scholarship. This cause honors the cherished memory of Joe Stempien, who touched the lives of many with his generosity, kindness, dedication, and unwavering passion for community involvement. Joe was not only a beloved friend and colleague but also an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His commitment to the community and his desire to make a positive impact on the world through his involvement were truly remarkable. To perpetuate Joe’s legacy, we have established this scholarship fund to provide financial assistance to deserving students pursuing higher education who display similar characteristics, such as excellent citizenship, strong work ethic, and positive community involvement. The Joe Stempien Memorial Community Leadership Scholarship Fund aims to support individuals who share Joe’s dedication to community involvement. Your generous contribution to this fund will directly impact the lives of these aspiring students, helping them achieve their educational dreams and, in turn, make the world a better place, just as Joe did. This will be an annual donation to a senior student at Fremont High School, allowing us to continue Joe’s legacy in making a positive impact in the community of Fremont, IN.
