September Lunch and Learn with Guest Presenter Alicia Johnson with the Bowen Center

Join us at Sutton's Deli in their event room for September's  Lunch and Learn on Tuesday, September 27th at noon.  The guest speaker this month is Alicia Johnson with the Bowen Center who will be speaking on mental health in the workplace.

A boxed lunch is available to purchase for $10, you can make your selection at registration.

When registering for a lunch package, please indicate what type of sandwich you would like: Beef, Chicken Salad, Turkey, Ham, Vegan, and Vegetarian.-  All boxed lunch options are available gluten-free upon request!

The Annual Membership Expo & Meeting is taking place to inform all of our esteemed members on the status of the Chamber, the planning and direction that the Executive Director and Board have agreed upon to ensure overall success through adherence to the Chambers mission statement and vision.

We are excited to present Bill Konyha, President of the Regional Chamber or Northeast Indiana as the Keynote Speaker at this year's event. 
Bill is the President and CEO of the Regional Chamber of Northeast Indiana, an advocacy organization supporting the policies of its private sector members in the eleven-county region. The mission of the Regional Chamber is to promote an environment in Northeast Indiana where individuals, businesses, and communities thrive in a global economy. The focus is on the pillars of 21ˢᵗ Century Talent, World Class Infrastructure, and a Competitive Business Climate.
Bill has been engaged in community and economic development for thirty years in urban and rural settings. He served as COO of Eastside Community Investments, Inc. in Indianapolis and as President & CEO of economic development organizations in Tipton, Connersville, and Wabash. Before joining the Regional Chamber, Bill served as Executive Director of the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs for twenty-eight months. At the same time, he was working for the State. Bill also served as a member of Governor Pence’s cabinet and Economic Development Committee. He also served as a member of the Lt. Governor’s cabinet.
Bill served on the Indiana Economic Development Association (IEDA) Board of Directors and held the office of Vice President and subsequently President of IEDA. He served on the Legislative Committee for thirteen years and as chairman for five years. During the Daniels-Skillman administration, he served seven years as Chairman of the Indiana Main Street Council and five years on the Indiana 
Bond Bank Board of Directors, including three years as its Vice Chairman.
Bill served as a member of the Wabash City Schools Board for seven years and the Manchester University President’s Leadership Council. Bill is a two-time recipient of the Sagamore of the Wabash in 2013 and 2016.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to venue regulations, outside food or beverages will NOT be permitted to be brought in for the event.
