| 12/6/2025 | Tibbits Opera House invites you to experience the magic of the holidays as The Wizards of Winter bring their hard-rocking, family friendly, Christmas extravaganza to the stage on Saturday, December 6, at 3 p.m. The Wizards of Winter originated with husband and wife team Scott (composer, keyboards) and Sharon (lead vocals/flute) Kelly in 2010, and over the intervening decade plus has grown into a nationally touring Christmas holiday rock opera, delighting audiences of all ages. Tibbits is excited to bring this singular musical experience to Coldwater. In the course of this live experience, The Wizards of Winter explores the meaning of Christmas through original compositions, classic Christmas carols, and more, using a blend of keyboards, flutes, saxophone, violin, guitar, bass, and Broadway-caliber vocals. “If you enjoyed the music and pageantry of Siberian Solstice, or if you enjoy Trans-Siberian Orchestra, then you will love The Wizards of Winter,” said Tibbits Executive Director Christine Delaney. “We are incredibly excited to bring an act of this magnitude to the Tibbits stage.” In total, The Wizards of Winter lists 12 performers on their website, who have performed with acts like Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Alice Cooper, Def Leppard, appeared on NBC’s “The Voice” and on Broadway, to name a few, and Vicki Lynn, with Entertainment Weekly described their performance as “the ultimate holiday playlist.” As a proud member of the Coldwater community, Tibbits also wants to make sure that people don’t have to choose between this fantastic live show and the yearly holiday parade, set for Saturday evening. With that in mind, Tibbits has chosen to make this show a matinee performance with a 3:00 p.m. start time, so audience members will be able to attend both. Make it a delightful day of holiday cheer and merrymaking magic in beautiful downtown Coldwater! Tickets for The Wizards of Winter range from $25-$54, including fees, with discounts available for Tibbits members. The performance will be held at the historic Tibbits Opera House, 14 S. Hanchett St in Coldwater, MI. Doors to the lobbies, art gallery and Ghost Light Bar will open at 2 p.m., with seating beginning at 2:30 p.m. The concert will begin at 3:00. From the theatre’s opening in 1882, touring artists have been offered for the community. Tibbits continues the tradition with a season of concerts, cultural events, movies and other such programs for all ages.
