Branch County Community Theatre presents "Yazoo, Miss'ssippi"

Alex Halldorson arrives in the middle of Newt-A-Yazoo-La, the annual festival celebrating the reclusive winged newts of the Yazoo River. He's there to build relationships between his company (a chemical plant being built along the Yazoo river) and the local community. The relationships he discovers are not the ones he expects. Family lies, broken ties and why won't those Yazoo...who-zoo--Yazoo winged newts fly?!

 
A cast of five -
 
Josephine Jackson, the assistant to the Mayor (played by Micale Wells)
 
Harley Tibbits (the author named him specifically after Tibbits Opera House), the Mayor (played by Thomas Wright)
 
Alex Halldorson, the rising star for the northern based chemical company (played by Aaron Paul)
 
Phoebe Jackson, older sister of Josephine, owner of Aunt Phoebe Inn (played by Nedra Kingsbury)
 
Samantha Norman, HR representative from the chemical plant, has the hots for Alex (Played by Kaitlyn Lee)
 
Henry Tibbits, identical twin brother to the Mayor (played by Thomas Wright)
 
Emily, a reporter for CNBC (played by Jada Bell)

The Coldwater Noon Club is pleased to present its 68th annual variety show. This year’s show, "Boogie Down with the Noon Club", will be a compilation of upbeat songs performed by the
Club’s local solo artists and chorus. In keeping with show’s tradition there will also be several skits featuring the Noon Club’s own unique humor. This show is rated PG-13.

The three Cs, Character, Community, Camaraderie, describe the Coldwater Noon Club’s 102 years of service to Coldwater, MI. The profits earned from this show will be donated to several
charitable organizations. For more information about the Club, its service projects and charities supported please go to www.cwnoonclub.com.
