Event Description
Hilarious, heartwarming family comedy about not letting go. Nick is a single, likeable, Italian-American guy from Hoboken, whose parents retire and move to Florida. Nick remains in New Jersey, however, and sees both sets of his grandparents every Sunday for dinner. This is a regular and beloved routine until Nick is offered his dream job across the country that would take him away from his loving, but eccentric, grandparents. When he tells them, the news doesn’t sit well. It begins a series of elaborate and hilarious plots, schemes and conspiracies by the grandparents to keep Nick around, including bringing to dinner the lovely, and single, Caitlin O’Hare as bait. You’ve heard of the “Parent Trap?” THIS is “The Grandparent Trap!” Written by Joe DiPietro, the author of I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, it will appeal to young and old alike!

Single tickets for this event range from $20-$46 including fees ($42+fees orchestra aisle; $39+fees orchestra; $36+fees lower balcony; $18+fees student; $16+fees balcony; Tibbits member/group/student/season ticket discounts available). Doors will open one hour prior to showtime and seating will begin 30 minutes prior to showtime. Late seating will be in the balcony. No outside food or drink allowed in the theatre. Runtime is approximately two hours. This show is rated PG: all audiences.
