The Downtown Angola Coalition has been committed to fostering community development since 2017. Operating as Angola Main Street, we collaborate with the City of Angola, the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (Indiana Main Street), and Main Street America. As a nationally accredited Main Street program, we adhere to high standards in our initiatives, ensuring quality and accountability in all our community development efforts.

Our Mission

Our primary focus is promoting activities and development in Downtown Angola while striving to make it a vibrant regional destination. We work closely with government agencies, local businesses, property owners, philanthropic organizations, and dedicated community members to drive impactful place-making efforts. Through programs, events, and development projects, we celebrate Angola’s historical and natural resources, support local businesses, and enhance the experience of living and working in our downtown.
